Logos crashes on startup
On a HP laptop my pastor owns Logos crashes as soon as it opens.
I reinstalled it and it worked for like a week and then it happened again.
I have him using the web version for now.
How can I fix this without having to keep reinstalling it?

Hi Brian, can you ensure that Windows is up to date and follow the instruction here https://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging and upload your Logs.

This has been happening to me as well. A recent update fixed the problem and then another update has caused the problem to happen again. So you are not alone. I am assuming it will eventually be fixed. Clearly something is causing the crash.
That said, the fix is to press down on the control key and with the key pressed, down, open logos. This will open the sign in box. Once that is open, just sign in and you come to a blank logos screen. Click on the default layout and you are back up and running

Hey when I hold down ctrl it still keeps crashing as soon as it starts up.

Keep holding down the Ctrl key till a sign-in screen pops up. If you let up too soon, you get a crash.

Try continuing to hold down control key even after the sign in page comes up and until the program starts. If this does not work, I would contact customer support

I am submitting my logs. For a few weeks now, logos will crash upon opening. So the only way I can open the program is by using the control button that brings up the login page.
It appears not many are having this problem as not many have reported it. So if someone could look at my logs, that would be appreciated

I read in another thread to ctrl open then set open layout to blank. If i try to open to my daily reading layout, it crashes. Logos is aware of this problem.
