Notes Editing Issue (Font size does not change)
When I select all text in a note and change the font size from the default 11 to 8, it changes the text but if you click on empty rows the font size is still the default 11 and if you start writing there the font size is different than the rest of the note. This makes it impossible to format notes in a consistent way.

I know what you mean - but any rows that exist in the note already have a font size associated with them and so clicking on that row resets the font size as you have noticed.
The same thing happens in Microsoft Word.
If instead of clicking on a row, you set the default and press Enter to open up a new row, you should find that the font details are preserved.

If you select all text in Microsoft Word (including the empty rows) and change the font size - every single row changes to the new font size. Not so in Logos Notes. And not only empty rows, between words as well. I copy a part of the same note with font size 8 and then paste it in a middle of a sentence (also size 8) and it pastes in font size 11. Definitely not like in Microsoft Word.

Fair point - I had missed that

The Logos Notes has become more unreliable since it changed to Faithlife.
The formatting functionalities in the Logos Notes, including this simple editing function of changing font size, has not been fixed. The bugs related to formatting and editing notes are not only very annoying but also are fast becoming unreliable.
BUGS:
1. the formatting function within all text selected environment is dysfuntional. The formatting functionality must be managed at each paragraph level. This bug has made using Logos Notes a very time consuming effort.
2. the integrity of the formatted notes from the PC Desktop version to mobile version are dysfunctional - once a note is viewed on the mobile version, all the formatted forms are lost.
3. editing a note on the mobile version is dysfunctional - the cursor position defaults to the beginning of the note automatically. It is very annoying to discover that new added notes are found in the wrong place. This is not only a time consuming correction but also halts the very precious thought process, losing the valuable moments of inspiration.
If Logos had decided to sell an increasingly dysfunctional Logos Notes, at least, disclose it upfront. "We have more ebooks than others! Manage your notes with time?"

I am having the same issues, and just now a new one surfaced.
I was selecting ch:v, highlighting them, copying them to use the link tool. Had been doing this for a while, when all of a sudden, as soon as the link text box is opened, the highlighted text is deselected.
Tried several times, before going on to a more necessary editing.
Completed my other work. Closed the app. Closed my laptop. Opened laptop, then restarted Logos. Tried again, to no avail. Came here looking for info.

In another thread, someone suggested creating notes in Word and then pasting them into Logos. That means my new notes won't have the same appearance as my old notes, but at least they can be formatted in a consistent way. You might try it out and see if it works for you.
Notes were permanently broken in L9 and I never expect them to be fixed again. The program is almost unusable to me, and I will proclaim that to anyone willing to listen.
