"Best Commentaries"

The Logos "Best Commentaries" page seems to follow what is published at "bestcommentaries.com". Many, if not most of the reviews on that site are based on 20 or less favorable reviews. For example, the top three commentaries on Philippians were determined by less than 20 votes each:

best commentaries .com gets a lot of good press here, and so the collections are based on that website and those reviews. you're right.

You can find their methodology ranking system here. You'll also notice that it favors older commentaries and has tried to fix this with a "New and Upcoming" section as well.

It's a shame though when Logos do their "Best Commentary" sale, because of Best Commentary's ranking system, often revised or updated volumes by the original author don't rank highly enough and we get the original included in the sale instead.

Many of these made the cut with as few as five votes. Perhaps, people from here could go on there and give positive reviews for the commentaries they want, so that they will be featured in sales.
