Understanding Double Clicking a Word

Hey,

I'm trying to understand what is happening when I double click on a word in my ESV Bible, and if I can control where the link takes me.

For instance, if I click on the word 'Children' as part of the headings in Ephesians, 'Children and Parents', it takes my to the New Living Translations, which is the fourth Prioritized Bible I have set.

However of I click on the word 'Bondservants' from the heading 'Bondservants and Masters' just below it, it takes me to the Dictionary of Jesus and the Gospels, another one of my Prioritized resources.

What is causing Logo to pick there different resources when I double click on a word, and can I control it somehow?

You can alter the behavior in program settings...

The behavior will vary somewhat based on what the resource is, and in the case of a Bible, original language (Hebrew, Greek, etc...) as well as prioritization. Body text has original language behind it while headings do not so that will also affect how Logos reacts in this case.

The Lookup is correct, but the NLT has a Bible Verse Finder section which will attract words like "Children" which are indexed as Headwords. To avoid that you need some Advanced Prioritization. Here is how I do it:

So right-click it in your list and make the changes! It will still be #4.

Dave, would you be able to walk my through the settings for the Advanced setup you talked about.
I'm not sure what I need to adjust in those settings.

Work with my previous screenshot:

Open the Prioritize list in Library
Right click your entry for NLT
Select Set Prioritization limits..
Click the first box
Select Bible (NLT)
It should look like my screenshot
