Problem: Song slides refuse to change their background, title slide and everything else does.

2 different computers (Mac and PC, both recent updates) will not permit changing the background of the song lyric slides. When a title slide is added within the song, that changes but the others remain a light blue. There is no image and I have tried removing backgrounds, choosing a background color and "no background" to no avail.

I cannot replicate what you are finding Matthew if I go 'Background - Browse Media - (Select Media) - Apply as Background'

Strangely I don't see 'No background' or 'Remove Background' as options.

Please will you post a screen shot of where you are seeing these commands?

If you click the background dropdown, you can choose the color options or click the box with red lines over white I believe. Also, I have a lower 3rds tab setup that does have the “remove background“ and “remove foreground“ commands.

Also, I just tried making a new song, and the behavior is gone. The issue is these songs are duplicated from last week to preserve formatting. The background is changed weekly. Never been an issue until this week.

Thanks for the additional info. We will try to reproduce in house and see what is up. When you style your new song to match, you can right click on the slide canvas and hit “Set as default song…” and then going forward even adding new songs will match your styles. (You’d have to do this for each screen as well, they have their own defaults)
