Update for the Forumities
I wanted to update you all. My cerebral palsy has gotten worse. The cerebrum has some damage and drs are not sure if it is reversible:) hopefully it is. Last week I was diagnosed with intracranial stenosis. I am going to surgery Aug 11 5 hours from my home. Through an open incision in the skull, neurosurgeons reroute blood flow around the blocked artery using a replacement blood vessel from another part of my body. The neurosurgeon removes a portion of the skull and conducts open surgery to drain the hematoma and repair the ruptured blood vessel. The new artery bypasses the damaged blood vessel and restores healthy blood flow in the brain. Hopefully this will help the memory issues. I am going through a lot of stuff. I have 4 classes left to finish my MA in Bible and hope to keep going. No thesis in this program is great. Let me know if you all have any questions.

I wanted to give everyone an update. My surgeon had an emergency and cannot do the surgery until Aug 17. I have to go for MRI and CAT scan later today. I will find out more of what has happened. So I can maybe finish my final paper and then prepare for my next classes.

Well my surgeon has Covid. So now we are still waiting for another surgeon. I cannot believe this. Be in prayer for me.

I want to let everyone know the surgery went well. It was done on Monday at 7 am and lasted for 10 hours. He was in ICU until Wednesday as he lost approximately 4 pints of blood. After further examination of blood vessel that was supposed to be ruptured it was not correct. The overall outcome looks good. 70% chance of recovery. He is doing well and resting. He is continuing on anticoagulation and aspirin. Keep him in your prayers.

Hello. It is Christian here. I have been doing a little better as I got put in the ICU again Monday but am back in a room now. I have significant memory deficits and loss in short-term memory. I am having a lot of trouble moving. I am praying to get better soon. It looks like I will be here until late next week. I am doing a little reading but not much. Mainly rest is happening at this time.
