When I load Logos it says 'free edition'. Do any of you regret moving on to Logos. I love WS but I'm considering 'upgrading'. Logos has been a struggle for me.
my weekly bump of unanswered posts in hopes of getting them an answer.

I don't recall what WordSearch users moved over to but it was a higher level than the free edition. That means your Logos account is likely not tied to your Wordsearch account. You'll want to make sure that is correct before going much further.

Just reading, it was a one-for-one, whatever a person had in WordSearch, moved to Logos. I suppose if a person had a basic WS, they'd have a basic Logos, and so on.
Logos needs upgraders to stay in business but even so I am sure that they would tell you to only upgrade if...
1. You need some resource of facility in order to better study or promolgate God's gospel.
2. You want something.
With 1. above the expense will need a cost benefit analysis, with 2, well folk seem to manage to afford what they 'want'.
I would like to support Logos, but I don't know what the next upgrade is from the free version.

That really depends on what you have in your system and what you want to accomplish.
Logos Essentials might add some basic capability if you have a small library.
You would need to tell us if you are most interested in...
Honestly, I'm only interested in comparing Bible translations. I have purchased about 40 translations from WordSearch. I don't care much for people's opinions. [:)]

For this the Text Comparison Tool is really helpful.
I believe it is available in the free version of the software - I suggest checking if you can see it under the Tools menu and seeing if it helps you in your study.
I don't care much for people's opinions.
You realize that your comparison of translations is a comparison of textual critics and translators' opinions, right? [;)]
Just saying, I'm only interested in English Bible translations. Actually they are quite consistent in major doctrines. When I became a Christian I listened to many opinions. It was total confusion. I don't see any major problems with our English Bibles.

Hi William - it helps others if one uses the 'Quote' facility to show who one is replying to.
If you are only interested in comparing English Bible Translations and have 40 or so already transferred from you Wordsearch purchases then the only upgrade I could recommend would be The English Bible Collection. The price of this collection will be reduced for every resource that is already in your library so could be quite inexpensive.
Should you come across any 'problems' with an English Bible translation please come back to either the Desktop forum or the General forum as appropriate and folk will be able to point you in the direction of the tools in Logos that will help you resolve the issue.
With your limited interests there is really no point in paying for facilities and resources that you do not either need or want.

Another option for comparing Bibles is Passage List. Also, some Free Bibles with Reverse Interlinear tagging => Lexham Intro Collection (5 vols.) are available in Logos Free Edition and Free visual filters can highlight range of Greek verbal expression:
