When creating a workflow, the user must select a workflow kind from a list of options:
- Bible Reference
- Bible Word (English)
- Bible Word (Lemma)
- Biblical Event
- Biblical Person
- Biblical Place
- Preaching Theme
- Theological Topic
- Topic
I want to create a workflow to prepare multiple lesson plans for the "Fundamentals of the Faith Collection (2 vols.)" (https://www.logos.com/product/149318/fundamentals-of-the-faith-collection).
Each lesson/session does not cover a specific Bible Reference, nor any single Logos Topic. I need a workflow that does not prompt the user for either when it is launched.
Instead, when the workflow is launched, I need it to ask for the lesson/session name so that when I am looking at the list of Started and Completed workflows, it shows that lesson/session name (A 100 character alpha-numeric text box would probably work). Examples of my lesson/session names:
- FoF.01.1_Introduction to the Bible-Structure
- FoF.01.2_Introduction to the Bible-Message
- FoF.01.3_Introduction to the Bible-Revelation
► Questions for you beta-testing and Faithlife experts:
- Is there a way to do this in the current Workflow tool?
- If not, can anyone think of a workaround?
- If there isn't a generic workflow as described above, can (please Faithlife) one be added to Logos?
I can see many other scenarios where this type of the Workflow could be helpful.
Thank you.
