Standard-Highlighters not shown

I've been using only my marker palette for a while now, and I just wanted to mark a piece of text in my Bible in yellow only. But that doesn't seem to work for me in the desktop application anymore, or I don't get it. The yellow highlighter does not show up in any Bible, personal book, or any other work in my library.
Any marker in my own palette, however, without a problem. The ones that come with it don't at all. Indifferent

What am I doing wrong.

Highlights use visual filters. It sounds like you have the visual filter for that note file turned off... so you ARE creating highlights, you just don't see them. Explore your visual filter menu.

All notebook visual filters are clicked.
I just used the highlighter yellow from the default palette in the mobile app and it works. In the desktop app the yellow underline is displayed.
I myself can no longer use the default palettes in the desktop app. They don't even work with the associated note entry that is automatically created. Nothing is done there.

This happened to me a couple years ago. I had deleted the notebooks the highlighters were stored in so the fix was to restore or make a new notebook same name.

Thank you very much.

I still had to assign the notebook to the style in the palette then and now it works.
That this is possible, that I can not delete the palette, but the notebook, I find scary.

Glad it's working again for you. It was very frustrating when my highlighting stopped working. I knew it was me and not the software so I had to backtrace my recent actions.

For me, the "cleaning up" of the notebooks was quite a while ago, so I would not have thought of it.
It would be desirable if there was a default setting for such a link between highlighters and palettes, which then automatically takes effect.
I can't delete the default markers, but only deactivate them with this trick.
