I want my layout back.

A topic of discussion lately has been the adventurousness or lack thereof with regard to users of Logos and them not knowing how to use aspects of the program they've owned for years. The sentiment of some is, "just play around with it--learn how it works!" Mmmhmm...so, anyway, I just clicked a link to do a...to be honest, I don't even know what. I know I wanted to do something that in L3 I could have accomplished without having to click anything at all. Just hovering my mouse would have produced immediately the result and answer I needed. But the program has devolved continuously and precipitously with each new version, and as I have said multiple dozens of times, within 2-5 minutes of me attempting to use the program, it effectively "breaks", and I spend minutes, hours, days, months, or years trying to fix the offending issue so I can get something like productivity out of this mid-five-figure boondoggle.

I wanted to know what the underlying meaning of Yabhbohkh (Jabbok) is. I clicked the word and some screen popped up. I clicked something on the screen and it didn't just pop up a window with information. Rather, it completely wiped my layout and replaced it with nothing of utility. Nothing I've ever done in this program has just wholesale jettisoned my layout like this before. My layout, the one I've used for years and years and years, is gone. HOW DO I GET IT BACK?

Not sure what to say or what is going on. I have had a few times when I open a saved named layout, and a different saved layout opens but it has taken over the first one's name. The only way I know to restore it is to go through the layout snapshot history, find the layout that was overwritten, then save it with a new name.

Okay, thank you. I found the snapshot from when I opened the program and it is restored. Again, thank you. I can see now that what I clicked on as a "Hebrew Word Study" is listed as a layout. I guess I know what that all means now. Funny how nothing in that layout was of any use to me at all. I take that back...there's nothing funny about that at all. [:@]
