My comment was relative to new bidders ... they're looking at $200 for old stuff.
I am not interested in paying $200 for this resource. So I thought to cancel. On my prepub orders page, it does not say the resource is $200, but rather, $30. I think this was my bid or prepub price when i first bid or pre-ordered. But on the product page it says my price is $199.99.
So is the price really $200 or is it $30. Can someone clarify what change was made when community pricing disappeared. Were our bids moved to pre-pub and prices changed?
I see the same, but as I understood it, the pre-pubs were locked at the CP price when the CP program was closed. My pre-Pub orders page says $30, too, so I believe I will pay $30 when this bundle ships, not $200.
Have joy in the Lord!

I frequently go to my prepub orders to look for former community pricing resources to make sure I am getting the community price. It is indeed $30 if you ordered it in community pricing.

“Where's that modern Latter Day Saints collection Ben recommended?” Alas, there’s no interest.
I'm not really sure about that (I know the link exists much earlier in this thread, but if anybody is curious: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/88557.aspx ).
I think that Faithlife should make available all the books mentioned in that thread - and if not as full-fledged Logos editions, then at least as automatically-produced eBook editions, which would not require production cost.

I, much like Paul (Saul); constantly and without ceasing; am amazed how FL can take something as simple as moving CP bids to pre-pub and make it so confusing to so many people. All traces of the CP history is gone. All that remains is the bid amount that some of us placed before CP ended, and that is in your account pre-pub listing, even if it's just gathering interest. FL should enlist some proof readers from the All Stars to document these types of changes before they try to implement them.[^o)]

Was there ever an option to vote for it? Speaking as one who’s had misconceptions before, if the collection of old resources is not considered accurate, having access to what is believed seems important regardless of whether one agrees or disagrees.

I imagine that would be dependent on whatever the negotiations with rightsholders would allow.

No, there wasn't ever an option to vote. It was two dozen+ books, and I didn't have time to create votes for each.
As for accuracy, JoD wasn't even "accurate" or "official" at the time. It's a collection of spontaneous 19th century speeches, transcribed into shorthand, and then edited in England NOT by the speakers. Comparing the rare shorthand with the published text reveals significant differences.

Minimal. Good for history-of-religion. Good to get a text of the Book of Mormon in here, though I doubt there are many other books that cite it, and thus I don't see Logos revamping any resources to make LDS scripture references live links.
It looks to me like a grab-bag of random stuff no longer under copyright that an underinformed Logos employee threw together to market to the "Evangelical apologetics" or "anti-cult" crowd. (Look at the comments/reviews of the collection, and you'll see that crowd rejoicing at this material or else upset that Logos is "distributing" it.)
Your average Latter-day Saint wouldn't find much value in this. I'm a historian and I don't find much value in it. It's all freely available elsewhere, and having it in Logos doesn't add any value to make it worth $200 or whatever. For $10? Sure. But I'll add just about anything of marginal value for $10.

Fair enough. I got in at $30. (I wouldn't pay $200). I'll consider keeping my pre-order at that price. But I don't want to use unreliable resources and risk rash judgment in studying what another group actually believes.
