BUG: Export Bible on PC does not include images from Visual Filters
Hello !
Exporting Bible text using my Visual Filters, I noticed that the PDF export on PC does not correctly include images from the Visual Filters, as it does on Mac.
PDF export on Mac (correct) :
PDF export on PC (images removed) :
Luckily, I'm primarily working on Mac, so I'm not really impacted. But I still wanted to report that issue.
Also, I was a bit surprized that only the PDF export is able to correcty render my Visual Filters. Other formats basically just export formatted text. I was (naively) expecting more with the Word or HTML formats.

Word doesn’t have the same kinds of markups, so there is nothing to import.
As for the differences in PDF’s between Mac & Windows… I have a theory. The Mac OS handles this natively… it is built in. The last I checked, which admittedly has been awhile, Windows doesn’t. When I checked last, the user had to have additional software (drivers and/or utilities) installed to get “print to PDF” to work.
It is my guess that the issue isn’t with Logos (Mac vs. Windows) but with the different drivers/utilities (Mac vs. Windows). Perhaps an update on your part would fix it?

FYI: Windows 10 includes native support for creating PDF files using a virtual printer.

I have a pretty standard installation of Windows 11, so at least that would be a common limitation if proper export would depend on the OS.

Does it work properly for any windows user?
I've just checked on my Windows computer and I don't get the images in a PDF export either.

In my opinion at least, adding a dependency on some specific requirement or configuration of the platform to get proper PDF export seems like a bad (read: suboptimal) idea. Let’s see what Logos will say.

Thanks for the report. We've created a case to investigate this problem.
