New Bible Commentary not updating metadata in Desktop
In my mobile app I have access to LLS:29.1.12 2022-04-14T19:30:21z / 2019-08-21T19:43:10Z
If I go to Logos.com is reports that I own
- Resource ID: LLS:29.1.12
- Resource Type: Bible Commentary
- Metadata Last Updated: 2022-04-14T19:30:21Z
If I open my DESKTOP App (Windows) the resource shows the old cover and this info:
LLS:29.1.12
2019-08-21T19:43:10Z
NBC.logos4
Is there a way to force my Desktop to get the new metadata/Cover?
FYI my Desktop version is:
Making Disciples! Logos Ecosystem = LogosMax on Microsoft Surface Pro 7 (Win11), Android app on tablet, FSB on iPhone & iPad mini, Proclaim (Proclaim Remote on Fire Tablet).

Have you tried deleting, hiding, unhiding, redownloading?

It is my understanding that mobile resource files are different than the desktop ones, so perhaps it just hasn’t been updated.

To be clear... the date you displayed from the Desktop application is not the last metadata update. It's the last time the resource itself was updated. There isn't a way to access the metadata update version from the desktop.
Unfortunately, messed up cover images are a difficult problem to unstick. The easiest way to fix this is to locate your catalog.db* files and delete them. Your log file will tell you exactly where to find catalog.db, and the others are in the same folder. Technically you can delete that entire folder if you want. It will have the same effect. Those files will get regenerated when the application runs. It will cause all of your resource metadata to get redownloaded, and all resource cover images will be redownloaded.

thanks for weighing in! Covers are not a big deal to me on electronic editions, I just noticed a difference between devices in the same ecosystem. It appears nothing is out of order.

I followed the advice to delete the folder with my catalog.db* files. Unfortunately this did not work to update this resource to the new cover page. Has anyone gotten this to work/update?
