Psalms in Greek
I regret asking questions here, as I think I should be more familiar with Logos now, having bought Logos Bible Software Series X in March 2005. In earlier years I was interested in the letters of St Paul, and used the Original Languages Library, getting a Greek-English Lexicon in May 2001,
But now I am interested in the Psalms, but have not been able to get a facility with Hebrew, and as the early Christians used the Septuagint (especially after 70 AD) I would like to use Greek in my study of the Psalms.
I needed to buy a new computer and also bought the Bronze version of Logos recently, even though over the years I have bought many resources.
I have several problems
- At times I get unusual, apparently random, results, probably due to lack of familiarity with Logos and Microsoft (Windows 11) as well as a lack of computer abilities. But might there be a problem with a new HP computer?
- I would like assistance in using ‘Psalms Explorer’, as I am not sure I am using it most effectively.
- In studying the Psalms in the NABRE by right clicking a word in the context menu on the left column I get mainly Hebrew results, and on the right I can get the Greek words (BWS). Can I get more Greek and less Hebrew?
I am grateful for advice I have received from so many helpful people here, both in getting resources and using Logos.
PS: a few minutes ago I saw a post by M.J. Smith who seems to address at least partailly my issues. I will study this in detail later.

Can you provide a few more specifics about what you are looking for?

Not from the context menu as the reverse-interlinear for NABRE uses Hebrew (for Psalms and most OT books)
You could though have NABRE, an LXX text and a lexicon open in the same linkset.
Then when you move through NABRE, the LXX will track position and you can click a word in LXX to get to the associated article in the lexicon

Many thanks for your expert, friendly and supportive replies to me. I am very grateful and appreciative for the help I have received from you and others and think I am making substantial progress in Logos/Verbum.
As I have noted, in the past the letters of Paul were my main interest, but now my study topic is the Psalms, and, as I am more familiar with Greek and made very little progress with Hebrew, I think a focus on the Septuagint will be constructive.
Initially I raised several points, which you replied to, but now I will concentrate on one.

A concern is from time to time the computer lists page after page of a book/resort and it is difficult to stop this listing.
The problem may be due to my lack of competence, rather than computer problems (Microsoft, Office or Windows 11). Alternatively I May have downloaded Logos/Verbum (Version 10) incorrectly to my computer.
In the first instance I would like to be reassured that my programs and new HP computer are satisfactory, before moving on. Now I think they are
To build up on a solid foundation seems sensible.

Do you mean that pages are scrolled continually without you clicking / scrolling in any way?
If so, there are various keyboard keys that cause scrolling - such as the spacebar and Pg Up / Down or the up / down cursor keys
Is it possible that these are "sticking on" in some way?
