How to find this series?

Say I have some books that have related series, such as (ficticious):

1. Readings from the Gospel

2 Readings from the Gospel from Jewish Context

3. Readings from the Gospel according to John

4. Readings from the Gospel a New Interpretation

etc. etc.

How would I use the "Series:" label in my Library list to JUST find the books of the series in #1? If I say "Series:"Readings from the Gospel" I get all the books in all 4 series.

Thanks!

Series:"Readings from the Gospel" ANDNOT ("from Jewish context", "according to John","a new interpretation")

Unfortunately, that requires you knowing what all the series are that you don't want to include in your find results, but if you're building a collection, you could take the time to get it right. Or you could TAG the ones that are in the short series name only with a unique tag and then use mytag:unique-tag-name. That would ensure that if some other series comes along in the future called "Readings from the Gospel of Matthew" say, it wouldn't get included in your collection rule that had neglected to exclude that new one.

There is no way to match a series name exactly, unfortunately.

That's what I thought - no way to match exactly. Thanks Rosie!

In this case, {Series "Readings from the Gospel"} will do that. But the name and Case have to be exact!

I would strongly recommend this approach: it will be much faster and more accurate.
