Highlight Character < and >
i inadvertently did a long press and drag on a space between words on the iPad. It inserted the >><< highlight markers. I cannot delete them. If I do this on a word the trash can to delete the highlight appears but it does not appear where there was a space. The more I work on it the more characters get entered.
Anyone know how to get rid of these?

The pic is from the desktop APP, but the procedure should be similar.
1. open Notes to the Notebook that was in use
2. filter by "Highlights" [yellow highlight]
3. select the note that has tthe >><< "highlight" [red circle]
4. open 3-dot menu [blue square]
5. delete the "note" containing the highlight

Can you move the blue touch targets (small blue circles) to select only the >><< highlight style? Once you do this, the trash can icon will show up to delete the highlight. (You can also just delete it on the desktop app.)

Every time I try to highlight or select it adds more characters. I attached an image but it is not visible.

Can you try again to attach the image, please?

Thanks for the screenshot. That's interesting. Can you please take a look at the screen recording I've linked below? Please try to do exactly what I am doing in the recording and let me know if you're able to delete the highlight style.
- Open the resource to the highlight style you're having issues with.
- Drag the touch targets to only be selecting the highlight style.
- The selection menu should pop up and you should tap the trash can icon.
- The highlight style should then get deleted.
If you are not able to delete on the mobile app, please go to the desktop app and try to delete the highlight style. Let me know if that was successful.

Every time I try to select the markup it just adds additional markup characters. I don’t use it that often. Thanks for the help.

Please send me a screen recording of what you are doing when trying to select the markup and delete it: ali.pope@logos.com.
There are two other ways you can delete this markup:
- In the Notes tool on the desktop app.
- In the Notes tool on the mobile app.
Have you tried either of these alternative options?

The notes tool fixed it.
Thanks for the help.
