Understanding Label and Search changing colors
So I create this new highlight palette and set the text background to dark green and give it a label called x.
Then I reboot Logos to set everything to neutral.
Then I open a book from my library, choose a section of text, then choose "Highlight" and choose my "x" label and poof the text is properly highlighted in the dark green background that I chose. Good! See example 1.
So I reboot Logos, again to set all to neutral.
The I open Search, type in "label:x" and press go....
I get on the screen a short paragraph of my labeled text but background in yellow.
I click on the book in Search and the book opens to my label but again the text background is yellow, not the dark green that I expected. See example 2.
Why not the dark green that I chose when I created the label???
Example 1:
Example 2:
xn = Christan man=man -- Acts 11:26 "....and the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch".

Please show how you defined the label - it sounds like you don't really have one. What attributes did you give it?

When I do a Search on "label:x" (x being name of Label I created)... Search finds the book it's in. I click on the book and then my labeled text shows up in yellow. From that, I would presume that Search recognizes my label. But here is a print out of my label:
xn = Christan man=man -- Acts 11:26 "....and the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch".

The whole purpose of a label is for it to carry additional information in attributes. I've never tried a label that is a title only so I don't know if it has unusual behavior. I believe the yellow is from the search result highlighting - it looks a bit muddy as if there a multiple highlights. If you close the search does it return to green? If so, it is the search highlight that is confusing you.

Yes, if I close Search, it turns green.
Why does Search highlight override my set highlight label colors?
How does one change the Search highlight?
Or what attributes am I missing in my label?
Edit: Now I've really messed it up. So I was thinking, well the label is wrong... so delete it and start over. Seems logical....
So I deleted my Label in Highlights... but nooooo Logos doesn't recognize it's gone! Reboot Logos, do my search again and bingo... the Search still recognizes my Label, even though I deleted it. But now... when I close Search the Highlights do disappear.
I call this behavior weird!
I must be missing a lot.....
Does your Labels work differently?

How does one change the Search highlight?
That won't alter the fact that your Search will always alter the color of your "label".
Or what attributes am I missing in my label?
Does your Labels work differently?

I deleted the Label I created. I rebooted Logos. Yet when I do a Search the Label I deleted still shows up. I must have deleted it wrong or something....
How do I get rid of this thing so that Search doesn't recognize it?
Edit: To me, this would increase the "bloat" of Logos for each deleted Label if the Label is not truly deleted. I am missing something I am sure....

I'm assuming you removed the Label part of the Highlight.
You will have to go into the Notes tool, find the highlights and remove the label (where tags are listed at the bottom). That will leave the highlight intact.
This is a bug, though, as you suspected.
