Video help

I am a little confused at this. I am easily confused though.

I finally found the ratings on my computer. Lets say I am happy with everything but my graphics. My gaming graphics I think is ok. processor 7.2 mem 7.5 graphics 4.1 gaming graphics 6.0 hd.... 5.9 Lets say I want to up the graphics to a 6.0 How do I do this?

these things give details as follows...

AMD Phenom II X4 925 Processor, 8.00 GB, ATI Radion HD 43350, 3579 mb total available graphics memory, 870GB free (920GB Total)

Any help.....??

Yes...it should be an easy fix...just popping in a larger video card should do it.

Even if your current card is actually built into the Motherboard, it will work.

Edited to add: I just realized that your video card is 8GB? Wow...and it needs to be upgraded????

William, if you want to wring more performance out of your card go to Google and do a search like this "overclock AMD Phenom II" you should be able to find instructions that fit your card.

It appears that AMD has overclocking guidelines. Be sure to research your options thoroughly, overclocking will make the unit run hotter, potentially shortening its life. You may want to consider upgrading the cooling system for your tower if you decide to try to bump the performance.

I am sorry I must have confused you. The 8 GB is the system RAM. It is not the video card. My video card is that ATI Radeon 4350. I will take a look at its upgrading.

Kevin....I can overclock an ATI Video card? I have never really considered overclocking a card for the problems you describe of overheating and shortening its life. Overall I am happy with everthing on my system with the exception of the graphics. I am pretty good with my "Gaming graphics."

Yeah, getting into the cooling and power supply and such is a major concern for me. I am sure its simple to do. I just decide that I really want to do it then get it done.

the simplest thing to do is to just buy a video card with a larger memory/better stats than your current one and pop it in...
