How to delete highlight palette

I am trying to delete a highlight palette but when I try to do so I am told it has styles still in use.

I have deleted all my notebooks, so there should be no styles.

How can I proceed to remove the highlight palette.

Surely I don't have to find every occurrence and delete it individually?

Are you not seeing this tool tip message when selecting the highlighting palette you want to delete? It should give you the option to replace areas that you used the former highlighting palette and replace it with a newly selected one.

Running on v28.2.43

You have to:

delete all highlights for that palette e.g. in the Notes tool.

a search for highlight:"My Palette/*" will find them (using your palette name).

permanently delete all highlights for that palette in Trash (in Notes tool).
