BUG: Copy Bible Verses tool issues on Mac

On Logos 10.0.0.0234 ARM, macOS 12.6, M1 Max Macbook Pro .

Couple things:

The Copy Bible Verses (Cmd-Shift-J) will not open the floating CBV window unless you first open the tool (Cmd-Opt-B) in Logos, and then close it. The screen blinks, but no tool opens. After opening and closing the tool in Logos, it works thereafter.

Second:

I use Mellel as my main word processor. Mellel does not appear in the list of apps in the CBV tool. My list is: FL Proclaim, TextEdit, Pages, Word, Keynote, PowerPoint, and LibreOffice. I can still do a manual Copy-Paste.

The Replace with Passage service does work just fine in Mellel, so I have switched to that for now.

By the way, Accordance's equivalent tool does work great with Mellel, and in fact, automatically chooses it when the tool is invoked with the Mellel window active. But the Logos tool is superior since I can write my own Style, saving me much time.

    Hi Martin,

Thanks for reporting the issues with opening CBV, I was able to reproduce and will get a case written for that. I am looking into the issue with Mellel not showing in the CBV list.

Any update on bringing Mellel to the list?

Any update on bringing Mellel to the list?

The list only includes a few broadly used applications that provide a convenient mechanism for implementing this behavior. We currently have no plans to add other applications to this list. I recommend posting a new suggestion at https://feedback.logos.com/boards/logos-desktop-app/
