Bible fonts

Hello,

I am new to Verbum/LOGOS and consequently new to the forum. I am using Verbum version 28.0.34 on my HP desktop. As an individual being a retiree (non-clerical, no official Church affiliation), vision at this stage is changing so reading the Bible in Verbum is difficult when using the dark background, as the font color the developers used might be artistic but far from practical. Using the lighter background results in too much glare for me. It is bothersome that there is no provision to change the font color.

Prior to this post, I viewed the suggestions offered in the forums about changing resolution and/or contrast on my monitor, but I do find that a bit ludicrous. It is a function of the developer to enhance and provide ease-of-use for the user, thus the burden should not be placed on the user. Should this problem exist due to my using the free version, I apologize but on a fixed income, the prices are far out of my range. Again, for any free application that I use, inclusive of dark backgrounds, the font color is a consistent option.

This is very disappointing since I enjoy the rest of the application, but having to strain to read the Bible results in being a deal breaker. I am compelled to go elsewhere.

This is not meant for the community (hence no reply is necessary), but hopefully, the LOGOS team reads the forum.

Blessings to all.
