I'm going to do a tip on tracking down highlighting ... can you think of any other sources than:

  • everything that appears under visual filters - especially the corresponding features
  • Search panel, inline search, find
  • Factbook toggle
  • spell checker
  • selection

    • Not sure of the scope you are looking for, but maybe worth mentioning that your selection range can change if you right click and have the milestone selected

    MIght be worth mentioning that using the Multiple Books Display (Multiview Resource), the child resource will also have the same visual filters applied as the parent, so the parent might be the source of the highlights not the child resource. For example a bible with highlights on bible milestone will apply to a commentary child indexed with those milestones. It could lead people to wondering where the child highlights come from.

    It's simply another source of text markup

    Thanks for reminding me to mention Notes under visual filters ...
