I may simply be missing it, but is there a copy syntax to produce this layout:

ChapterNo:VerseNo [Tab] Verse(no footnotes or formatting)

That is pretty close. Do you know if there is a way to have the verse text align with the tab when it goes to the second line. Here is what I'm attempting to duplicate (if it formats correctly):

Gen 1:1     In the beginning God created
                      the heavens and the earth.
2     The earth was without form,
                      and void...

You can't have a unique first line.

    <p>[ShortBookName] [ChapterNum]:[VerseNum]<tab>[VerseText]</p>

    produces:

Ge 1:1   In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
Ge 1:2   The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
Ge 1:3   And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
Ge 1:4   And God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness.

    You can have:

    =Header
    [FullBookName] [ChapterNum]

    =ForEachVerse
    <p>[VerseNum]<tab>[VerseText]</p>

    which produces:

    Genesis 1
1   In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
2   The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
3   And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
4   And God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness.
