Linking the Lexham Heb & Gk Interlinears

In my regular layout I have both the Lexham interlinears in one panel. Both are linked as 'A', along with my preferred Bible in a different pane.

Is there any way the two interlinears can be linked so that if, in my Bible, I go to an OT passage, the Lexham Heb Interlinear comes to the front and opens to it, and if I go to a NT passage, the Lexham Gk interlinear comes to the front and opens to it? At the moment I have to click the appropriate one to make it active.

Maybe I'm just lazy...

I don't think that it is what David is asking for.

Unfortunately we don't have anymore the "Resource Association" feature that is available in L3. With that we could have what David is asking.

As far as I know, we have to do exactly what David does. We have to have open both resources and click on its tab when we need to see the same reference that is showing in our preferred Bible.

I've been looking for SRAs, too... if there's a workaround, I'd LOVE to dump one of my 2 layouts that attempt to duplicate my SINGLE L3 layout for Greek/Hebrew sermon work.

John's site has a lot of this sort of thing. http://biblesoftwarenewsletter.blogspot.com/ And this type of thing is what I though was being asked, though my example was a "no-frills" / "basic-function".

In any event John F's site., Has a great deal that would assist in answering David's question in part... to my understanding. I think serial resource associations (which is how this worked in L3) is flagged for a future development - if you search for BobP's posts I think you will find it somewhere.

OK,

I went back to John's video and here is the short version:

Create a layout with at least:

2 English Bibles (can be the same one 2 places)

1 Greek text

1 Hebrew text

Other resources so as to have links to click to....

Set the Greek text and one of the English bibles to "A"

Set the Hebrew text and the other English bible to "B"

In the Greek and Hebrew text, choose "send hyperlinks here"

BUT NOT IN THE ENGLISH BIBLES

So now, when you click a link to a NT text...the English and Greek will move to it, and When you click on an OT link, the Hebrew and English will move to that.

And they shouldn't be hard to implement as the genesis is already there with commentary sets or Series.

Thanks, everyone. Yes, it was the Serial Resource Association functionality that I was looking for, and which was available in L3. No doubt it will come to L4 in due course.
