Navigation box no longer opens other locations in the book series
I used to be able to type "Jer. 1:1" into the navigation box of any given commentary set, and even if I had started in the volume on Exodus, it would take me to Jer. 1:1 in the volume on Jeremiah. Now it won't do this. I have to open a new tab for the volume on Jeremiah. I can still link a single volume in that series to my Bible and it will follow me wherever I go, but it won't allow cross navigation within the series using the navigation box. This holds for any multi-volume set, where it used to work. I'm not sure if that's an intentional change, or if it is a glitch. I'm running v. 29.1.22 on an up-to-date Windows 10 Pro.
Does anyone else have this problem? Is there some new setting that will restore that very handy feature. It's rather cumbersome without that feature. It's like I'm back to closing a book, putting it back on my shelf and grabbing a new one.

Same problem here.
I'm hoping this was unintentionally broken, and will be fixed.

Not broken for me on v.29.1 and v.30 beta on Windows 11. NICNT and Tyndale function across their range of volumes.

Interesting. Tyndale is one (of many) I tried it with (TOTC and TNTC).

Yes. Still doesn't work.

Is this an internet only feature (on desktop)?
No. You can create your own series as well as change existing series names.
I can move between my connected Greek and Hebrew lexicons

I combined those into one Tyndale series and put the duplicate (older) volumes into another series. For example, you might have two volumes for Jeremiah in your TOTC. series. However, as your problem extends to any multi-volume set, I doubt that trying to move to a duplicated volume would be the issue.

This sounds like a known problem that should be fixed in v31. If it's the same thing, then the reference you are looking for should actually show up in the list of suggestions, but the default (the one that is picked when you just hit enter without looking) is a suggestion for the current entry. If you wait for the list of suggestions to show up, you should be able to pick the correct one from the list.

Thanks Andrew! Yes, that works! I used to be able to simply type the reference without waiting to click on the suggested passage, but this is a quick fix (though I hope the old way comes back, too, since it's so simple).

Yes. That's the bug.
I was using Tom Wright's Prison Letters from the For Everyone series.
If I just type in Mt 24, it doesn't work. If I select one of the entries that pops up in the Nav box for Mt 24, it does work.
Can wait for v.31. Glad to know it will be fixed. Thanks.

I'm having the exact same problem on Logos 29.1.22 with up-to-date Windows 11. So is my wife (on a separate install and separate account) on Windows 10.

I think that commentary series are supposed to be created automatically though.

Please use the Quote button to clarify your response (as above).
Commentary series are created automatically, but I was only illustrating that you can create your own series with other types.

This has been resolved in v31.0.
