I bought the Bible Commentary Series of the Seventh Day Adventist Church over the Logos online shop and would like to import the libronix-files into my Logos 4 Mac. Is this possible? How can I make it?
Thanks for helping!
Gabriel
Did you receive a DVD/CD? If you purchased it as a download, it should automatically download to L-4.
Don't forget to sync your libronix. Once you do that you should be able to download your Book on L4.
If you've got the files on your disk somewhere, and you know the location, you should be able to type "Scan <path_to_your_resources>" in the command bar and select the option that is highlighted.
If you've got the files on a CD/DVD then do the following:
After you've done one of the two above, do the following:
It works! Thank you very much for your help!
I have some resources in Libronix 1.2.2 that were not detected when I installed Logos4. In fact, my Logos4 was stuck at A14, I just manually downloaded and re-copied over A19.1 and nothing has changed.
I tried doing a "scan /Users/xxxx/Library/Application Support/Libronix DLS/Resources" to get it to add them, but it just blipped and did nothing.
What must I do to get the Libronix 1.2.2 resources to show up in Logos4 Alpha? Do I have to re-install everything from the CD's?
If you post your log files after running the scan command, we can try and figure out what the problem is. See the FAQ in my signature, item #6 for how to post your logs.
I have just got logos 4 for my mac I still have libronix installed on the mac with all the files from my tyndale comentaries and theological journals installed. I have tried scan /Users/krishkandiah/Library/Application Support/Libronix DLS/Resources and nothing seems to happen except for the program hangs and the fan kicks in on overdrive
Any ideas?
thanks

Observation: Libronix DLS default resource path is /Library/Application Support/Libronix DLS/Resources (system library - available for all users on a computer). In contrast, Logos 4 Mac default is user specific.
If Libronix DLS installed before Logos 4 Mac, then Logos 4 Mac should identify and copy Libronix DLS resources.
Please post logs - have seen many Logos 4 crashes while identifying older resources.

Tom,
Running Alpha 23 and trying to load Systematic Theology by Grudem into L4. Tried the commands you suggested but nothing happens. I went to the FAQ forum step 6 and followed those instructions to get a copy of my log. Problem: I don't have Logos4 folder inside Library-Application Support folder. Thoughts, suggestions would be helpful.

Mac OS X has couple Library folders - one system wide (used by Logos 1.2.2) along with one per user (used by Logos 4 Mac).
Forum http://community.logos.com/forums/p/6731/55152.aspx#55152 has annotated screen shot showing user Library with Logos 4 logging folder.

I am wondering, I have a really old cd version of Word Biblical Commentary for libronix, and it has no serial number, nothing. I am wondering how I would load it into my logos 4 for mac? Please help, because I need these resources.
If the license for that content is associated with your account, you should be able to access them by inserting the disc and typing "scan optical media" (no quotes) in the command bar.
If the license isn't associated with your account, you will most likely need to call customer service.
Called customer service... but they could not help. The version has no linces number and I have never had it on my account. So what can I do?
Blessings

The good news is, since it is all in Logos 4 now, the download and Licensing is much easier than the old way of doing things. Blessings
In other words...the glass isn't completely empty [:'(] ...it just isn't completely full. [:D]
See what the power of a positive outlook can do for you?? [^o)] [;)]
Are you talking about the 54 Volume WBC in the LLS format? If so, it won't have a serial number. I bought mine from Mike at Rejoice back in 2003. You would probably have to install the Logos 2.1f version that it came with, backup the license, import it into Libronix (unless Libronix picks it up automatically), sync the license, then sync Logos 4. If you happen to have you receipt, you might be able to just send a copy to either Logos or Nelson and get them to fix it at their end. Hope this helps.
