I was wondering if there was a way to create a sermon in sermon manager from the RCL, specifically a non-Sunday like Maundy Thursday?

Not quite sure what you are asking here Jordan.

If I were doing this I would take the reading/s from the RCL and enter them in 'Passage Guide' and get my resources from there.

In extremis I would check the sermon archive and either plagiarise or lift something inspired from there.

@Jordan, in Sermon Manager you will find that you can create sermons from templates including your lectionaries using the command sentence in the top right.

    It is labelled "Add sermons:".

The next command section lets you select the template (look for lectionaries at the bottom).

Once you have a lectionary selected you can choose the year and season (Lent, 2023-2024) and select "All" days.

Once you press Add, it should create sermons for the 14 liturgical days in Lent for that year. The sermon metadata including the passages should auto-populate.

    I hope that helps.

I know that I can do it that way - I was just trying to find out if a sermon could be created direct in the Sermon Manager from the RCL like it is for Sundays, but for a Thursday in this instance.

Hi Alan, thanks, but it's not what I'm looking for. It probably doesn't exist, which is okay. I only want to create one sermon from RCL, not all of that particular season. I already have those in the Sermon Manager, I just was trying to add a few from RCL for Holy Week.
