BUG: NA28 GBS Clicking an OT Cross-Reference with “Send Hyperlinks Here” Enabled Crashes the App

When reading NA28 GBS, I have the tab for NA28 GBS set to “Send Hyperlinks Here” (because I want the Hebrew OT and other cross-references to reuse same window—very useful for an in-class teaching use case), I click on an asterisk containing the cross-references (which correspond to those in the margins of the print edition). When I click on an OT cross-reference (BHS SESB is the top Hebrew Bible), the app quits unexpectedly.
When “Send Hyperlinks Here” is disabled, the crash does not happen. The work-around, then, is to disable is to disable “Send Hyperlinks Here” and have an SESB BHS tab already open; the cross-reference will switch to that tab.
The point is, the crash should not happen.

Agreed.
But why are you expecting a NT bible to open with an OT reference? The only way that would work is to have a Series link with a Hebrew bible, in which case my SBLGNT tab will open to the LHB.

Hi Dave,
I'm not expecting a NT bible to open with an OT reference, of course.
I want the reference to open in the same window, i.e., to switch to the OT in that same panel. I have the Series on NA28 and BHS set to my own designation "WholeBible". Just seems to work better for me, since I often just want to switch to another verse in the Bible without having to switch tabs.

I've been looking into this issue and have been unsuccessful in reproducing a crash. Are you able to include logs? This would help us track down the issue.

There is a bug with an NA28/SESB user series as an OT passage will switch to SESB, but a NT passage switches to SBLGNT, which is my preferred GNT.
This also happens with "Send hyperlinks here" when the passages are external. But, if the OT passage comes from NA28 (a * footnote), I can reproduce the OP's "crash".
