I am finding I am using Clippings more and more. Don't know why...  but I am finding it works for me. One of the things I would love to see in Clippings is the ability to change the color of text. I think this would really make Clippings stand out for me.

Just my 2 cents.... Geeked

That would be achieved if Clippings had the same text editor as Notes. Had you noticed that Clippings also lacks Underline and Strikethrough features (but CTRL+U will work for the former)?

If you are desperate for color, you can actually add your desired styling using the Notes tool as a scratch pad and then copy and paste from there into the Clippings document. It's not great, but at least gives a workaround.

I've been a big fan and proponent of the Clippings tool for years...and was always in the minority report.  It's a great tool for those that discover it.

I appreciate that Andrew. Hopefully one day we can do it in Clippings. Thanks again!

I am finding that I do a lot of research and as such I copy my findings to Clippings over time, then when I am ready, I go more deep into the study to find what I want to keep, make my edits to what I copied and cull the rest. Then I have one document that is my go-to document for that study.

You are right, it is a great tool or function or feature of Logos.

When I studied for my ordination exams, clippings were the best way for me to organize my information.

I would like to add more "functions to Clippings" that I think would be great improvements:

    2. An "undo" and "redo" functions so that if I accidently delete something I can "undo" it.

    3. I would like to stop it that when I copy a verse into a clippings and the verse is red-letter, that if I want to add my words below the passage, it doesn't change the color of the "copied text". Now it does change the color of the "copied text".

    4. I would like the ability to take away the "boxing of the text" once it is pasted into a clipping. Currently, when I paste a text the process draws a box around it and has headings and footers around the text.

Someone at Faithlife once said the plan for clippings was to integrate them into the notes tool.  I don't know if that idea has gone by the wayside or we will see if one day and what it would look like v the current clippings tool.

That is not an improvement! The Notes UI is incompatible with the way clippings are organised and used and it would be a force fit (IMHO).

And I see two different function between Notes and Clippings. I for one would hope they are not merged into one.
