Application Lowers upon Launch with Mac
On my Mac when launching Logos 9, the application will immediately lowers when opening. This should not be the norm. I have looked on both Apple and Logos FAQs and forums with no resolution to address this.
Is there a setting? Some other fix for this?
Thank you!

When you say "lowers when opening", do you mean minimizes into the dock? Does it open normally when you click the dock icon?
My experience has been that some third-party app is causing that issue. Usually, it is some kind of window manager or Keyboard Maestro rule.

Yes. It minimizes into the dock.
But I don't have any 3rd party apps. [:(]

Which version of macOS are you using?

I have seen this before, but it is not easy to reproduce. Do you normally have Logos run in full screen?

You should not be running L9... unless your version of macOS will not allow you to update. Which specific version of Logos and macOS are you running?

Since you are running the current version of macOS, you should be running the newest version of Logos. The software is free, some of the features you must pay for.
FYI - Logos has disassociated the nomenclature of the software versioning to break the connection between Libraries and Datasets (i.e. "Logos 9" or "Logos 10") and the software engine. The current version of Logos Engine is 30.1, which you should be running.

I downloaded the latest version tonight, and the app still lowers upon launching.

I experienced that before, and I could solve it by manually resizing the Logos window to a smaller size, closing Logos, opening Logos again and only then setting the Window to its max size. After that you can close and open Logos, its window will no longer get minimized into the dock (which is a pain).
For me, this trick has solved the issue consistently.I suspect this happens when and incompatible (probably too big) window size has been synched and stored during the last session. Either on another machine, or the same machine with a different screen.

Have my browser open.
Closed Logos and then launched it from the dock. It usually minimizes to the dock. Happened from the time I got the computer. (May 2023)
