BUG: Bible Word Study Translation Ring – Lemmas Please
When you run a Bible Word Study on a Latin lemma (in the Clementine tagged edition), the translation ring for the Hebrew Bible, Septuagint, or GNT shows Greek and Hebrew lemmas instead of inflected forms. This is ideal. Here's an example that is great:
However, when you run a Bible Word Study on a Greek lemma or Hebrew lemma, the translation ring for the Hebrew Bible, Septuagint, or GNT shows inflected forms not lemmas. This is not helpful. This has been the case for a long time. Here's an example that isn't great at all because inflected forms of the lemma ἱερεύς are separated into so many different slots on the wheel:
Can we please have the translation ring display lemmas/lexical forms, grouping all the inflected forms together? It isn't helpful to have one lemma broken down into 5 different parts of the wheel, IMHO.

I'm bumping to get a response.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Thanks for the report. I've created a case to fix the Translation section to provide lemma-based results depending on the selected translation source (if it's a Septuagint that provides the required lemmas).

Andrew, thank you so much. This will be a game changer, making the Bible Word Study wheels truly useful.

For the record, I get the same non lemma based reponse in Latin when running a BWS on Hebrew. Notice all the different forms of respondeo and exaudio:
