Two new Sermon Builder bugs introduced in v30
I am on the stable release channel and on 30.1 now.
Since 30 was installed, I have two odd things happening.
The first is when I use an ellipsis. When I type in three periods to make one, it adds three more for a total of 6. I have to. delete the second series. So to be clear, I type "..." which is what I want, and I get "......" Another issue is that the cursor is in between the two sets of three. Imagine a blinking cursor in the middle. I have to manually move the cursor and then take my extra periods out. Hope that makes sense.
A similar, but less annoying thing that came in v30. I often use 3 short dashes to separate sections of my sermon, like this: --- Since thirty was installed, I type the three short dashes but I get a long dash, a short dash, and then another long dash. That does not bother me much but the problem is that it sticks the blinking cursor after the short dash in the middle and I have to move the cursor. Screenshot is attached; you'll have to imagine the cursor is blinking.
This happens every time in every sermon document. Both never happened before v30. I have changed no settings in the program.

That happens to me in a sermon document but not in the likes of Pages etc. It appears that the 'Text Replacement' is first doing its job and then Logos is duplicating the result.

The default text replacement for two dashes, -- (you can type two by pausing between them) is an 'n' dash. So logically your three dashes should produce an 'n' dash followed by a hyphen. It seems that Logos is duplicating the text replacement part.
Compare with the behaviour in Pages or Notes.

I have not done anything with text replacement anywhere and it started exactly when I updated to v30.
I cannot duplicate this behavior in MS Word for Mac or Pages.iMac (2019 model), 3Ghz 6 Core Intel i5, 16gb Ram, Radeon Pro Graphics. 500GB SSD.

Thanks for the report. We created a case for this issue on a previous report here.

I'll create a case for our team to investigate as I was able to replicate the behavior.
