Open in a floating window issue
1. I have two screens.
2. Right screen DOES NOT have any Logos books displayed.
3. Left screen has a layout with several books in a 2-tile display.
THE ISSUE:
When I right-click the tab I have the option of "open in a floating window."
This new "floating window" should open on the RIGHT screen. It does not. It only opens on the left and takes up the whole screen.

If I 'right' click a tab the panel opens in the screen from which it was last closed.
My system seems to remember this setting for all (at least two) different panels.

If I 'right' click a tab the panel DOES NOT open in the screen from which it was last closed. It seems my system has a short memory. However, here are two screen shots to hopefully give u a better idea. I first shot should be both screens filled with the original layout. The second should be my layout AFTER I right click the resource to open in a floating window.

I should add: that if what I'm asking can not be resolved, it's not a big deal to simply drag and drop from one screen to another. It is baffling though why I have this "issue."

I don't have the exact resources that you you show in your screen shots. I did try setting it up with different resources. I take it that the right hand screen is the main window and the left hand screen is a floating window and that you are trying to float the resource into a second floating window?
On my set up - which is a laptop connected to two external screens this seems to work for me.

This appears to me working for myself and a few others. As you know the expected behavior the resource should open in a new window that is sized and positioned the same as it was the last time that book (or other panel) was opened in a floating window. We tested both on Mac and Windows and are getting the expected behavior.
Could we try something to help test if the expected behavior is working for your local machine?
1. Could you select the resource from above and choose "open in a floating window".
2. Move that resource to your desired location as well as the changing the size to your preference.
3. Feel free to close that resource or dock that resource to a tab. (either option is fine)
4. Open that resource from one of your tabs from the + sign. Choose "Open in a floating window"
Where does it land? We are expecting it to open the same location and size from step #2.

Left screen is the main window. However, if I close any program and then restart my PC at a later date, those programs that I have closed while in the right screen will open in the right screen. Those programs, applications etc., that I close while they are on the left screen will reopen on the left.
It is baffling though why I have this "issue."

Hey Matt,
I followed the below and no matter what I do, the "floating window" populates on the right screen. If I have a layout opened on the right and select a resource to open in a floating window, that resource will always open on the right screen whether I have my layout on the right or left screen.
Also, as mentioned above, when I select any resource to float, it will always monopolize the entire right screen hiding everything behind it. Even when I have a layout on the right and float it, it will open in a full screen mode and layer on top of everything.
Even when I open a resource and reopen it from the + it grabs the whole right screen.
Also, it seems that those resources that are floated and land on the right screen do not have the option to float again. It does have the docking option.
Any suggestions? Too bad you couldn't take control of my PC to see for yourself.

You could allow Customer Services to do that.

Just followed up and I believe we have what we need. Appreciate the patience and information. We'll write up a case for our team to investigate.
