App not syncing
Mcafee Live Safe is blocking Logos and Proclaim from syncing.
This happens from time to time. Does anyone know how to make McAfee LiveSafe recognise these two apps. I am on a Mac with Sonoma 14.3 Beta.
If I turn LiveSafe firewall off, the apps can sync.

That is really a question for the Mcafee forum, especially as it only happens "time to time".
From a Google "how to stop mcafee from blocking" query I was able to get this: "Open your McAfee security product, such as LiveSafe or Total Protection. Click PC Security. Click Firewall in the left pane. Click Internet Connections for Programs. Look for the app that's being blocked in the list."

Whilst solutions to the problem might be forthcoming the elephant in the room is why are you running this in the first place?
I can hold my own hand up and admit that I ran a virus detector on one of my Macs for a while just to see what had had a go at my machine. It turned out to be very little and none of my 'unprotected' machines were infected. I gave it up because it seemed to want to scan when I wanted to work.

Thanks Mike and Dave. Helps protect from risky sites.
McAfee has not been able to resolve it, tells me that it is the software vendors fault. I don't see how but will reach out to Logos.

That though is my point - it is more likely to cause problems than offer solutions.
