Write a search for the type of resource and date and save the search on the favorite tool. Then where you need it run the search and put whatever date and resource you want in the search.
Or you can save it as a Collection with the search as the Collection rule.
I just found this out. I dragged and dropped my library search to the favourites bar. I then opened my layout and clicked on the saved library search and then docked it. Seems to work fine.
In slightly simpler terms, drag a Library tab with filter (search) into Favorites. Click in Favorites to open the search in an existing Library tab or in a new window.
