Bug: Can’t Anchor Note to Chapter
iOS Logos 30.0.4
I can’t anchor a note to a chapter on iPhone. I can only select an individual verse reference or range. See the image below where the + button is grayed out until a verse is selected.
(Note: it works correctly on iPad, same version)

The weekly bump of posts without responses in an effort to get a response.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Don't know about Apple, but in Windows I anchor to Chapters all the time. Here's how I do it.
1. I highlight the first word of the chapter headings. Not the verse... but the chapter heading.
2. Right click
3. Select "Add a note"
4. Select "Selected Text" instead of "Reference"
5. my note comes up.... which I give it an icon and a book to be in... then type my note...
Then the Icon appear beside the chapter heading....
I actually learned this from MJ.... I once thought Notes only used "Verse Reference" but Notes also use "Selected Text" which I now use a lot.
Hope this helps. [8-|]

Instead of tapping the 87 (to get to Psalm 87), press and hold it. That will select it and enable the plus button enabling you to add the anchor.

Once again, you are correct!
However, I would still like Logos to consider addressing this inconsistency, since it is not required to press and hold on iPad, but only on iPhone. The iPad behavior is more natural.
Thank you, though!

I tend to agree and it'll be interesting to see if anyone from Logos comments on this.
I wonder if it is by design and, in some way, related to the different amout of screen space on the devices. But that's pure conjecture!
