Lenovo Smart Paper
Hi everybody from logos community.
I'm planning to buy a Lenovo Smart Paper. Does anybody know if Logos Mobile app run on this device?
After watching some reviews, I notice this device doesn't use a regular Google App Store, but it uses Aurora Store.

If you're actually going to buy a Smart Page, then you'd just have to try it (I'm guessing):
- Android using a side-load?
- Connectivity to Faithlife servers?
Hopefully someone else has tried it for you.
I got my Scribe during Christmas for about $200 lower than the Smart Page. I thought being able to write on Kindle books would be a major minus (for the Scribe). But having used it for several weeks, I find myself pretty much filling up the write-panel with my ideas ... the notes and diagrams would never fit on a book page. I would like to be able to pull my written notes, separate from my highlights and typed notes. But so it goes.
If you do buy it, please tell us your experience!

Can you access your Logos Bible Library through Kindle Scribe?

I can't speak to the Lenovo Smart Paper, but I would assume there's a workaround to be able to get the Google Play Store on it. This would depend on how much time and effort you're willing to spend though.
From what I do know, there's not a straight forward way to get Logos on either of these devices, but I'm sure someone has figured out a way to sideload at this point.
I would suggest the Boox line of devices though. I've had several and don't have a single complaint (other than Boox dragging their feet on Readwise integration... I'm hoping someday soon)
A comparable device to the ones you mentioned would be the Boox Note Air 2 Plus. Boox has several devices that have the Play Store on them (The Note Air 2 does take some tinkering, but it's pretty straight forward, YouTube has several tutorials).

Only thru what Amazon calls the 'Web Browser'. To be honest, I didn't try it, since even Amazon said it only works with the simplest of sites ... definitely not app.logos.com! Of course, the mobile apps don't work with Kindle.
That said, maybe some comments about the Scribe, which might be similar to Smart Paper
- Writing on a book, demands converting the book to a writable format.
- When a document is sent to the Scribe, it's updated for writing (eg text files, Word, and to some degree PDFs)
- As I understand it, written books can't be shared with others. Written notes, of course, can be
- Some Kindle books are writable, but they're specifically designed for Scribe usage (typically some type of jotting book)
So, as regards Smart Paper, even if you got the Logos mobile app loaded and even communicating with Faithlifie, it would not be writable (the books are inside the mobile app).
I don't know your preferences, but having used the Scribe a while, I now much prefer its writable notes. For some reason (maybe me!), writing notes, diagrams, and drawings, along with the author, seems a more intimate conversation. Putting notes in Logos seems so cold! Brrrr.
I'm glad I can export out of Logos into the Scribe (or any Kindle) ... of course, not automatic, but do-able, so I can write notes!
