Different locator bars for Logos Mobil??
I was recently with a friend who also has Logos Mobil. On his device, which was Android just like mine, His Locator Bar at the top showed ( Back arrow, Bible Icon, Bible abbreviation, then a hamburger icon with Joh 1:1, then Search Icon, then 3 dots).
My Locator bar on my identical Android device showed ( Back arrow, Bible Icon, Bible abbreviation, then a hamburger icon with Joh, then Search Icon, then Audio icon, then 3 dots).
Sorry, I didn't get pictures. But how do I get mine to show Joh 1:1 instead of just Joh? (see bolded above).

Both are were running the latest version of the app. To be sure, both of us did a delete and re-install to be sure we were on the same page and same version.

Are the screens the same size?
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

No. One is on Samsung s21 and other is on Samsung s21+. s21+ is longer than s21.

...and yours is the smaller one?
Also (not knowing how this works on Android), do you have "LARGE TEXT" enabled? (on iPhone you can make things appear LARGER if you have poor eye sight.).
Sorry JT... didn't see your post until today and thanks for trying to help. In Android, I don't find an option for "LARGE TEXT". I do have a "text setting" but no matter where I set "text setting" to, it doesn't change the size of the "Locator bar". But I do think you are onto something in that the text of the "Locator bar" is larger than the normal text.

I still have the problem on my mobile app. The locator bar at the top shows the book abbreviation but not the chapter. How do I get it to show the book abbreviation and the chapter number? (i.e. Deut 5).
Thanks
Edit: I have updated to the latest update.

Here's a shot.....
Notice in the Locator bar it has "1 Thess" but no chapter. ThanksEdit: This is on a Galaxy Samsung S21+ (plus) if that makes any difference.

There is clearly not room for the chapter number to be shown. It is also appears to me that the entire UI is LARGER than normal. As I suggested above, this must be an Android setting. See if these instructions help:

Move on to the second
Did that.... I've come to the conclusion that Logos uses long abbreviations for some books (i.e. 1Thess, 1Chron) and by doing that they take up all the room and no room is left for the chapter number.
I think the solution would be to use a 3 letter abbreviation for all books, then the chapter number would appear.

So, the difference between your devices is the missing audio icon for him. That means that he does not have a license for the Read Aloud feature on mobile (included from Bronze). Compare when both of you open the ESV (as there is a free human voice recording for that, the audio icon should always be visible).

In my screen shot, the icons in the menu bar up top are about twice the size of the text "The New King James Version." In your screenshot, they are about three times the size.
I still believe it is a UI or resolution setting on your device, but you will have to have an android user assist.

I have tried to change the font on android settings but nothing helps.
On my Samsung phone, changing the font size in Settings - Display - "Font size and style" definitely changes the amount of text I see in that box.

You can also change Settings - Display - Screen Zoom

Hey... The (Settings - Display - "Font size and style" Settings - Display - Screen Zoom) did it. I didn't know about that setting. Thanks to both of you! You helped to fix a frustration of the mobile app for me!!
Problem solved! [8-|]
