How is a placename reqonized as place or person in the sourcetext of the bible?
How is an placename reqonized as place or person in the sourcetext of the bible? I would like to create an personal book, and i use some names in this personal book. I will mark them als place or person but i am not sure how to do that. I am looking for a kind of hidden tag or label, but i am not sure if that is the right way to do it.
I was also trying: {{field-on:Place}} Jeruzalem {{field-off:Place}} as well but that seems not to work :-(
I am writing text in the *.docx file.
Any advice is welcome,
Greetings from The Netherlands

The fields list is here: https://wiki.logos.com/Search_Fields_List
For Jerusalem (assuming you're using the Dutch spelling), try {{field-on:City}} Jeruzalem {{field-off:City}}

The Person, Place, Thing attributes are not available to PB's.
{{field-on:City}} Jerusalem {{field-off:City}} does work and you can Search with City:Jerusalem. But it is not going to identify referents like Zion.
But you can use labels on the compiled book
- select the word e.g. Zion or Jerusalem
- right click and make a Note by selection
- in Notes tool, click add a Label (at the bottom)
- Label Name = Place
- Attribute Name = Place
- Value = Jerusalem (select the tagged value for Place)
- Click Done
Now you can search for label.Place:Place:Jerusalem and locate any place that you named as Jerusalem.
You can have one label (e.g. Name) and assign Attribute Names of Person or Place. Then you search would look like
label.Name:Place:Jerusalem or label.Name:Person:Jesus.

And seems that Date also is not working :-(
For a Search, use field.date:"date value"
Use the qualifier field. whenever there could be a clash with a datatype name.
The date (in quotes) can be any text value that resembles a date:
- field.date:"January 21, 2024" and field.date:"Sunday January 21, 2024" will work in most lectionaries
- field.date:"Jan 21, 2024" and field.date:"Sun Jan 21, 2024" also work in Byzantine lectionary
