Scripture Hyperlinks created in Note files - not opening default Bible

Hovering over a scripture hyperlink in my Note files opens a pop-up box that displays that passage (up to 5-6 verses) in my default Bible. However, clicking on that hyperlink does NOT open my default Bible to the passage (as it did in Logos 3).

Is a bug? Or a feature that will be implemented later? I'm running 4.0c (4.03.3.9511).

It would depend on how the note was created:-

imported from L3 - not sure how those behave
by Reference - it should revert to preferred bible irrespective of where created (popup + bible)
by selection - should refer to source where created (popup + bible)
manually created eg. Add Note - popup should come from preferred bible

I don't pretend to know that much about notes, so others may contribute.

Nope.

Try CNTL + click which is the magic for links of all kinds. This is the "new standard" apparently for several applications.

Thanks, but it didn't work. Pressing the control key did change my pointer from an arrow to "a hand with index finger pointing" (for lack of better description), but clicking on a Reference Hyperlink did NOT open my default Bible to that passage.

In most cases - when the reference is 5 verses or less - this would not be an issue with me since the entire passage is displayed in a popup as you hover over the reference. But, when the Reference is more than 5 verses, nothing after the 5th verse is displayed in the popup. In those situations, it would be nice to click on the reference to open my default Bible to that passage.

Strange - it works for me and has solved similar problems for several people. If you are running the most current version and CNTL + click doesn't work this is likely a call to a customer service techie.

I forgot to add that I'm running Windows Logos 4 as a virtual machine on a MacBook Pro - after playing around a bit, I found that "control-option-click" does the trick. [:$]
