Visual Bookmarks (the tick marks on the side sliders)
I absolutely LOVE my Logos 10 Platinum. It is a great tool for study and sermon preparation.
It is also VERY feature rich. I have watched a LOT of tutorials and benefited greatly.
HOWEVER, I cannot find anything about how to effectively use what appears to be called the "Visual Bookmarks." These are the tick marks on the side slider bar on the right of many reference windows. You can hover your mouse pointer over any one of them and it will provide the link that you can click on. However, there does not appear to be any order or sorting to them. It sees to me a random view of past verses and searches.
Is there any documentation available on how to effectively use this feature, or is it better just to turn them off in settings?

Those are called "tread marks." They show you where you have been.
Well, technically 'Auto marks'. I'd hate to use that on the forum ... 'is there any way to reduce the number of auto marks?' Or 'I can hardly see the grey auto marks'. And the little question mark in setup simply repeats the mystery. Help is more clear: 'Visited' marks. Yes.

turn "show auto and favorite bookmarks" off
Are you referring to the fact that in Program Settings the switch is auto and favorite bookmarks while the Helpfile refers to scrollbar bookmarks?
If so, it is the same and both platforms and I agree it is not consistent.

That is my point. The help file references something that does not exist (by that name).

Thanks to all of you for your input. It would appear they are not that useful or important. At this time, I believe I will just turn them off in the settings.
