Proverbs reading plan
I only use Logos on the web app and on my iPad. I have no computer at home (iPad only setup ).
Since years I have been reading one chapter of Provers each day for one month. I want to create this as a reading plan. Is there any possibility to do this in the web app or on my iPad?
I know that the functionality exists but they vary from each platform.
Is there any alternative available?
Thank you and God bless you,
Daniel

bumping for an appropriate answer
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

If this is not possible to do on mobile or within the web app, is it possible that someone else create such a plan and I can integrate it?
Thank you, Daniel

Only if they had your username and password... which is inadvisable.
If you could use someone else's computer (that would be a GOOD friend), you could log out of their account, in to yours, and create the plan.

Hi Logos community, is there any update to get this functionality on the iPad or iPhone?
I still miss it to create an individual reading plan on my mobile device.
Thank you and all the best, Daniel

If all you want to use this reading plan is for the book of Proverbs, then in the first day of the month read the first chapter of Proverbs and then on the second read chapter two. Proverbs had only 31 chapters it should be pretty easy to know what to read on any given day of the month.

Hi, okay I get your point. This might be an alternative for the books of proverbs, but is not my intention. I want to have a reading plan, showing and tracking my status.
I am not able to create this specific plan on my iPad. This is what I am asking for.
Thank you, Daniel

Is there any change that the Logos team will implement this functionality on the iPad? Or do I have to wait for Logos 11 or further?
What do you think?
Thank you, Daniel

Daniel you could 'Get copy' of this reading plan from the action menu at https://documents.logos.com/documents/e266b90b019347e08c98453a6e94b25d.
Once your app has synced it, you can click on the 3 dots on the card and choose 'Adjust to today' to start the plan from today.
This is the ESV one chapter a day, but if you needed a different bible please let us know and me or someone else will create the plan to share.
I assume you to start the plan on the first of each month, so will read a few chapters at the end of each month to complete? If not we could do you a plan that would just do one chapter a day and last a few years, I think there is or at least used to be a 1000 reading max on Android for the plan to sync to the app, I don't know about ipad, but we could try a few of differing length.
If you do just want to read right through every month, then once you have completed the plan at the end of the month, you could just mark all as as not completed manually from the app, or you could delete your version of the reading plan from your documents at https://documents.logos.com, and then add it again from the link above, adjusting to today again at the start, giving time for the changes to sync back to the app.

Hi Kevin, yes this is exactly what I am looking for. Many thanks. I appreciate. Can you please change the Bible to Elberfelder 2006?
This is my preferred bible. And I don’t need anything else. I will manually start the plan each month.
god bless you, Daniel

Hi Daniel,
You can try this https://documents.logos.com/documents/64c9640ebe2f47e9a24e9e06df57023d. I had to modify the reading plan database as I don't own this resource, but it should hopefully work.
If not perhaps someone else with that resource can create it for you.
Cheers [Y]

Hi Kevin,
many thanks. This is working.
So for my understanding: to create such a plan and share it, I need at least the desktop or Mac version. I cannot do it on my iPad?
I appreciate your help.
God bless you, Daniel

Sorry Daniel I am not aware of any way to create a reading plan of a subsection of a book in the mobile app, only what is under the 3-dot menu that allows to create one of the predetermined reading plans for a bible, or a full book reading plan in a monograph.

Yes, this is what I am also be aware of. I have requested this. We will see.

Hi Kevin, is it possible to add this document again for download ? I marked the reading plan as „not reading further“ and it completely disappeared.
thank you.0 -

Again, Kevin. Thank you so much.
My problem was, that for example, when I click on "adding to Reading list" (in German it is Lesestapel), the reading plan disappers. And there is no way to activate it again.
Is there a possibility to backup documents in Logos?
Thank you, Daniel

Sorry Daniel I am not sure how you are trying to add it to a list, for me the reading plans are card on the mobile app home page, I don't have the option to add to a plan or a list or anything. Is this the 'Read Later' option?
Perhaps you can go back to https://documents.logos.com/documents/64c9640ebe2f47e9a24e9e06df57023d and from the top right try deleting the document, and then duplicating the document again to see if that helps?

Hi Kevin, I have now made a copy of your document as a backup. I hope this helps in future. Thanks again for your help. This is much appreciated. Daniel
