Unable to create new notes

Strange behavior, I'm not able to add a new note, at least it doesn't show up in my bible.

I'll attach a silent video to demonstrate. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Hoping there is a solution short of uninstalling Logos and reinstalling. Strange there is also a problem recently on the mobile app in highlighting from a color not listed by default.

Things I've tried:

clicking "sync" symbol

Restarting Logos

Rebooting computer

Tried to upload short

Tried to upload short video here but getting error from faithlife server so I uploaded to youtube instead:

I agree this is strange - it looks as though the note is being added into the Notes Tool but not updating the display in your Bible.

There are a number of highlights being shown in your Bible, were they created using the same steps as you show in your video? If so, when were they created? I'm trying to understand when this problem started.

That is unlikely to solve the issue - so I wouldn't recommend it at the moment.

do you have other anchors in the note. I one of the anchors spans the new one you are creating then the indicator for the new ref won’t show up.

You can select text in the verse and anchor the note ti that and it should show up

Have you checked in the visual filter whether Notes and Highlights are enabled for the book?

Those notes are pretty old, at least two years I think. Sometimes I do the notes on the PC, other times on the android app.
