"free" ebooks with our monthly perks. But which ones?

With our FL Connect yearly subscription, each month we get three ebooks free. I get that.

Under "Free Ebooks" it says. "Pick 3 FL ebooks every month. Then it gives you the coupon number. Then it gives you the "Browse Logos Ebooks." (use this month's coupon code and you'll get your ebook free.)

Selecting "Browse Logos Ebooks" takes you to the next page that shows the 'results' (7,082). Of these how many are actually "free"? I've used my coupon on numerous occasions to only find out that NOT ALL are FREE.

So, how does one find the freebies?

Really all of them. The selection includes books you already own, so the next step is to filter for unowned, and maybe to sort by price: https://www.logos.com/search?filters=resourcetype-faithlifeebooksclassics_Resource%20Type&sortBy=PriceHigh&limit=60&page=1&ownership=unowned&geographicAvailability=availableToMe&viewMode=list

I use this every month - the books really are free. Only if you start to select with other criteria, e.g. for authors, and drop the Faithlife Ebooks Classics filter, you might get other books in the results that are not part of the group of potentially free books.

I believe this link to classic ebooks should all be free with the right subscription.

This month is different.  In the past, the green button were included and the dark gray button said it would take you to FL ebooks store which were not free.  This time, it seems they have either included all or added a bunch of new ones.

I usually filter on books I don't own and then by highest cost first. Then I scroll through and find the ones I am interested in and save them in a wish list. Then I go through my wish list and pick the 3 that I want. Sometimes I will work through a collection and other times it is just what interests me.

Seems like the old code formats aren’t working either. I just emailed faithlife for an answer.  This is extremely troubling considering some of us have been with this since the Logos Now debacle. Has anyone found any answers?

I did follow the steps Milkman laid out above, selected three books and they were free. The code definitely worked and the selection did as well. EDIT: and I understand his earlier post that it worked for him, too.

Which book did not work for you?

Since I had no problems, I can't really say I found any answers. Like you, I've been on Logos Now since the beginning. Can you be more specific as to what problem you are having on what resources so we might track down the problem?

Now whether I wasn't "filtering" properly or whatever. I did find for some reason that some of the Ebooks had a "blacked out" price point which I assumed were books that were unavailable for purchase.

Also, there were one or two times that an individual book of a set was available as a freebie. But when I searched and found that set, selected it and went to my cart, it was not available as a set. I 'assumed' that was FL's spinner bait to reel us/me in to get the whole set. Maybe? Maybe not?

With all that said and done. I'm nothing but thankful to FL and all its employees for an amazing product. From 'freebies' to customer care to the return policy.

How can I complain, when I'm drinking a cup of coffee in my study thinking of golf's opening day? Well, I can't!!

    Thank-you FL!! [Y] ⛳☕

One other thing to keep an eye out for is sometimes it'll say a set is free but instead FL breaks up the set and you have to get each book individually... e.g. some books in the pulpit commentary like Jeremiah Volumes 1 & 2
