Print Library: Economical package that will allow me to add my print library?
Hi, I am a second day user.
Is there an economical package that I can / have to purchase
that will allow me to add my 1000's of books in my print library?
I am assuming this is why I can't now...
Hoping I am wrong and I won't have to break the bank to use this feature
Thanks in advance
Kevin

It is not 'economical' as you require the Full Feature Upgrade for this.

or a subscription to e.g. Verbum Now that includes access to this feature set: https://verbum.com/now

I cannot get subscriptions pages to Faithlife Connect as a non-Catholic alternative.

They seem to be broken or Logos plans to retire the Connect program, that's why I didn't give links to that - however, there's nothing specifically Catholic about Verbum Now: it consists of a subscription to the Full Feature Set plus one monthly free book from seemingly the same pool of resources the Connect Essentials subscribers may pick three from.

Hi Kevin,
Welcome to the Logos Forums!
Are you asking about the "Print Library" feature which allows you to add the titles to your Library so that you can search through those books as if you had the digital versions? If so, that is what others have explained about -- how you can get that feature.
But if you're asking about an economic way to acquire the digital rights to all of those books you already own in print format, I'm afraid there is no easy way to do that. The most economical way to grow your digital library is to buy Legacy libraries from older versions of Logos. They are usually deep discounts on large numbers of books, which might eventually allow you to acquire most of the books you already own in print, if Logos versions exist.

The Connect selection comes from a different set and you get 3 free books at a different Checkout! Strangely, I was able to select 3 free Verbum Now books. The pool of resources does seem similar, though Connect had more on offer.

The problem is I have literally thousands of bible books in print already. I live near Penny Farms in Florida of JC Penny department store fame. He built a retirement center for retired pastors and missionaries. I have been going to their estate sales for many years decades and have bought entire bible libraries for 50 cents a book, many entire sets. i gave away many extra copies to starting ministers. That’s how I acquired so many. i just want to use the many many resources I have acquired over the years

How do you want to use them? If you enter them all into the Print Library feature in Logos (see above for how you can get that) it will allow you to do full-text searches in them. Once you find the page number, you can go to your print book and open it to read the surrounding context. You'll get a small bit of context in the Logos search feature (I think about 3 lines).
Entering them all would be time consuming, but there is a way to scan the ISBN codes to speed that up using the Logos app on your phone. See here for how to do that: https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/8688477672589-Print-Library-Catalog
Again, if you want to use them by having the books' entire content integrated into Logos, that's not going to happen easily. You'd have to rebuy them all.
