My two least favourite tools in Logos

OR - The two I hate most! Not because I find them useless, Lord knows they're great, but it's because I can't get a handle on them! One is the Canvas tool. The other Notes.
So b4 you start chirping and saying how easy they are to YOU, cut some slack.
I need some "good" demo's on these two tools. Some on the internet are so, so. Some guys just blast through them making it more complicated. Some are not very in-depth.
I've been avoiding these two for years, but now that I have mucho more tyme on my hands, I thought I'd take this out for a deeper look.
I don't even know if have to "save" them. How do you title them? All I want to do in Notes is make notes! Pretty simple huh?
So if you can recommend some vids, that would be greatly appreciated. By the way, I DO NOT have Morris Proctors subscription any longer.
mm.

Welll.... Canvas can be complicated and probably too much so. So won't argue about it.
Notes on the other hand is something I use a lot and like. As to saving them... they are saved automatically. As to title... I put a title in the first line of my note, then start my actual note on the next line. I also generally color code the text of the title with a color of my choice.
I hope they don't get rid of Notes.
As for me..... I don't like Factbook... yet, there are people that seem to love it. Which goes to show, "One man's trash is another man's treasure". lol. [8-|]
xn = Christan man=man -- Acts 11:26 "....and the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch".
Barney Fife is my hero! He only uses an abacus with 14 rows!

Does the information at https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017978372-Notes-Tool help regarding the use of the Notes Tool at all?

I've watched this before. I'll have to watch it again. I'll make some "notes" on paper and then ask them of you if you don't mind. Providing I need an explanation or two after going thru it again, again...

Well, I guess it's just a matter of playing with it. Too many questions at this time...
I'll just have to "limpet" then...

Well, that's about 51% of Logos, LOL.
I feel your pain with Canvas...I don't mess with it. I've watched videos, bought training, etc...still can't make sense of it. (I think you need some artistic ability to really 'get' it...and I can't draw stick figures well.)
More seriously, my recommendation for notes is, just start using it. Even though it makes no sense, start highlighting something and add a note.
As you go, you'll start figuring it out. You'll pick up on some ways to use notebooks to organize things, on how to add (or not add) note icons, whether to add highlighting to indicate a note, and so on.
Yes, it's a weird tool with the whole highlights-are-notes thing, but you'll begin to be able to use at least some functionality by simply applying the old adage, "don't force it...use a hammer."

Hey Doc B, ya, I think you nailed it. I just need to take that "deep dive." Play with it, experiment and as with most things the more you use it, the less intimidating it will be.
