I LOVE how new tabs open on the left. Better yet, if I drag the tab into position and then just a titch to the right, I can open it full width, all in one go. I LOVE that. Thanks!
I prefer the old open on the right - the change to full-size was simply reversed. But it's not an issue worth fighting over. It is clear that it is an issue that users are divided on.
So, have both.
It might clutter the Context Menu a bit but how about Right-Click->Menu Choice given to open the resource either Right or Left. Users Choice.
I changed my mind. Don't add anything to the menu. With a few simple mouse gymnastics, we can already open a resource almost any way we want.
