Reading Plan for Ebook by chapter/heading

I think I know the answer for this question already, but maybe someone knows a way ;-)

I would like to make a reading plan for this book: https://www.logos.com/product/22912/the-christian-history-devotional-365-readings-and-prayers-to-deepen-and-inspire-your-faith .

It's an ebook with minimal tagging, and does not work as a calendar devotional. But then I don't want to read it on the particular day anyway, but want to start with the Jan 1 devotion today.

Strangely, the book does have a page index, but all of January is on page 1, then all of February on page 33. An automatic reading plan for one year will assign page 1 to the first day, which includes all of the January devotions. The next assigned reading is for March 12 for page 33, which is all of February. So that is obviously not going to work.

At the same time, the ebook does have a table of contents in the sidebar, which shows the months on the first level, the individual days on level 2. I can also jump by article using the arrows on the locator bar. Is there any way to force Logos to create a reading plan by chapter instead of using the incorrect page index? I don't mind to have manually delete readings for the preface, headings for months, the index etc.

Or is my only hope a custom reading plan? That seems like a lot of work.

I guess I could export the text of the book to Word and then produce a Personal Book without page numbers. In that case an automatic Reading Plan would be done by heading. But then that seems like a dumb way to do it and won't be usable on Mobile...

Or has anyone managed to create a custom reading plan for this type of book using something like AutoHotKey or similar?
