Notes: sort/filter by style

I am wondering if there is a way to sort of filter notes by a particular style such as red highlight for example.  I have a number of notes with the same style that I would like to combine into one note via anchors. It would make this much easier if I could sort or filter by a style.

    Yes, it would!

If you use a highlight style for your Notes you can Search  for the Red style with highlight:red. highlight:"red foreground" is another example. You can align the results via the Note icon.

But I question why you want to combine them when each added Anchor highlights the whole verse which once had specific words highlighted.

Great question.  I am not actually anchoring an entire verse. What I've done is highlight a word or phrase that is related or repeated.  For example, I might highlight "as the Lord commanded" in the OT.  By anchoring those notes together I have one note that gives all the verses with that hightlight tied together.  This is also useful if I want the same note text repeated for each highlight.

I know I could do a visual filter but those don't carry over to my ipad which I use more than my laptop

I'm guessing there is probably a better way to do this but this is the one that I came up with.
