We Need an Update to Logos5 (joking)

I know it's time to be positive about leadership change after only 18 months.  Failed business plan execution  before that. But it's hard to ignore that staffing appears to be short on keeping the software from going south (accumulating bugs).  And maybe life is life ... enjoy the upcoming AI summary tool.

But it does remind me of Logos5.  I enjoyed Logos5, after Molassas4. It's only minor complaint was it crashed a lot.  So much so, that one could create a competition of 'how many ways to leave your lover app'.

I've pretty much given up on keeping track of all the more recent bugs ... reported? ... a case?  .... ignored?  Lots of choices.  Now days, I just kind of watch which areas of the software are most bug-prone.

But this AM, an oldie-but-goodie re-appeared ... the right-click search that can't set passages to match the resource being searched.  I remember Phil, or was it Bradley saying that was the plan.  And so it goes.

Serious question: [agreeing that the same greek words appear in the septuagint as in the Greek New Testament]

But are we able to run a search on "Romans-Philemon" from a Septuagint? Confused.

    All the best

I think your question merits consideration (the app did form the query from a right-click in LXX 1 Samuel, and Saul's crude language).

There has been much talk, however, as to whether the Paulines were originally part of Rahlfs, or just the LXX.

I haven't seen this for a while ... maybe bugs hibernate in Logos.

NO - being more serious than Denise, because the Passage box will request an LXX reference.

But Logos can break their own rules when it comes to forming a Search from the Context menu (for example). It should change the existing Passage range to an appropriate range in the LXX.
